The Rekluse Core EXP clutch
The Rekluse Core EXP is the highest quality Rekluse automatic clutch and also the automatic clutch with the best functionality for Motocross and Enduro.
With us as an importer you always get the latest version of the clutch.
The versions are identified in Rekluse 1.0, 2.0 Rekluse, Rekluse 3.0 ...
What does the Rekluse Core EXP clutch?
It separates the clutch when the engine is running at idle speed.
This is controlled by a centrifugal governor.
What is the benefit of the Rekluse automatic clutch?
Because the clutch is disconnected the engine is idling, it can not happen to you that you will slow the engine in tight curves.
In the event that the engine speed is so low, the Rekluse automatic clutch would separate briefly, you go back slightly on the throttle and drive out of the curve in a optimal way.
If we would have missed pulling the clutch in such narrow curves, then the clutch would be grinding forever now without the Rekluse automatic clutch, have bad driving out the curve and would accelerate slowly.
The Rekluse Core EXP however intervenes perfectly and makes you an excellent propulsive thrust from the curve.
This reduces the lap time and you'll get out of the curves overtaking your competition.
At faster curves in a motocross races, the engine speed often doesn't fit.
An example: In the second gear the engine speed in the curve is too high and you have no more power to accelerate out of the curve.
You have to engage the third right at the curve's exit.
Are you driving the curve in the third, you need to briefly engage the clutch at the apex of the curve for not to stall the engine or so you increase the engine speed up and drive from the curve with slipping clutch.
The Rekluse Core EXP governs this best.
Even when braking with bumps the Rekluse automatic clutch helps you.
With the OEM clutch the rear kicks on each bump and might even make you drift out of your lane.
The Rekluse Core EXP opens and closes the clutch depending on whether the rear wheel is on the bump and has grip on the ground has or whether it's just in the air.
Thus, the braking is quieter and you make your lane when driving better.
Then drive through the curve in third gear.
The clutch opens if needed at the apex and closes again at the optimum time.
So you don't intervene in the clutch early letting it grind too long.
You go through the curve with optimal speed and hasten out perfectly.
While the competition is still driving with a slipping clutch, you draw already past them.
The optimal intervention of the clutch also applies to the Endurorider.
There is no more sensitive hill-start than with the Rekluse automatic clutch.
The optimum traction through the perfect engagement of the clutch brings you up every ramp.
Do you have a little slip and the bike is on the ground?
The Rekluse Core EXP opens and the engine does not go out.
Simply lift and drive!
Will you let the clutch lever mounted you still have the ability to separate the clutch by hand.
This may be necessary, for example, for the start. You put the second gear, pull the clutch and turn the engine up.
So you can start with an optimum speed from the starting grid.
Or at a enduro race you standing in front of a major obstacle and have to lift the front wheel with the clutch.
It's all possible as before with the OEM clutch!
Construction of the Rekluse Core EXP
The Rekluse Core EXP clutch is supplied with a inner hub, which has special tours for the drive plates for the clutch to respond sensitively.
The pressure plate is optimized and on many models instead of the built-in 4 clutch springs, such as in Beta, certain model years of the Honda CRF models, some KTM models, etc .. the clutch is equipped with 6 springs.
This is an improvement of the pressure equality and function of the clutch.
All components are optimized in fluid dynamics.
This means better lubrication and cooling of the clutch which we have even less clutch wear than with the OEM clutch with the Rekluse clutch.
The automatic unit needs some space and the driver and the pressure plate are higher than those of the series coupling.
For that reason if only the Rekluse EXP is installed, two discs in the OEM must be taken out so that the automatic unit has space.
The supplied clutch cover provides the necessary space for the higher components and there is more volume of oil whereby the lubrication and cooling is improved.
Elements in the Core EXP and its advantages:
- The highest quality CNC machining and hard coated drive plate and inner hub in the Rekluse Core EXP for a precise function and long life.
- Rekluse center clutch with specially developed fluid dynamics and oil flow technology for better performance, longer life of clutch linings and cooler clutch.
- Made of high quality stainless steel and precisely manufactured clutch springs prevent clutch fading at high temperature, thereby slipping the clutch.
- CNC laser-cut clutch drive plates with a precise tolerance and radius for coupling driver increase the service life and allow a very gentle engagement and disengagement.
No more clutch judder!
Benefits of the Core EXP:
- Stalling no longer possible
- Pick up the motorcycle just after fall without pulling clutch
- Insert gear without pulling the clutch
- Improves the traction by controlling the clutch
- Better start
- Faster cornering
- Reduces lap times
- Clutch lever works like with OEM clutch
Why is the Rekluse Core EXP better than the Rekluse EXP?
The additional installed components such as the pressure plate, the center clutch, the special clutch springs and the clutch cover give the Core EXP even better performance and precision than the EXP.
By changed oil flow and additional volume of oil, the clutch remains cooler and the service life is increased.
Especially for extreme stresses the Core EXP offers more security due to the greater clutch surface.
