How does the Rekluse Radius CX clutch work?
The Radius CX clutch is a combination of the Rekluse Core EXP clutch and the linings of the manual TorqDrive clutch. In the Radius CX clutch, the inner hub and the pressure plate of Core EXP clutch are used, which are higher than ones used in the OEM clutch. This allows more space for the clutch friction pads and the steel discs. In addition, the thinner friction plates and steel discs of the TorqDrive clutch are installed, which means that depending on the model 2-3 more plates are used as compared to the OEM clutch. The clutch is matched with the corresponding clutch springs. A special clutch cover is used to ensure that all components have sufficient space and to achieve additional oil volume.
